Our Patroness

Our Lady of Guadalupe is our patroness because she is both Mother of the Americas and Patroness of the Unborn. An image of the Tilma is present at our meetings. These were her words of comfort to Saint Juan Diego:

“Listen, put it into your heart, my youngest and dearest son, that the thing that disturbs you, the thing that afflicts you, is nothing. Do not let your countenance, your heart be disturbed. Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more? Let nothing else worry you, disturb you.”

Recipient of the Outstanding Guild Award

Catholic Healthcare Professionals of Houston is proud to have received the 2021 Outstanding Guild Award. It is the highest award offered by the Catholic Medical Association for a guild that exhibits exceptional efforts in spiritual formation, education, fellowship, service, and growth.

“It was an honor to receive this prestigious award. It will bolster and strengthen our ministry for healthcare professionals. The national recognition for our commitment to practicing Catholic medicine and fostering Catholic fellowship is a huge accolade for us.” — Dr. Falco, CHPH president
